Management by objectives - a new web application

Published 2012-06-05 By SDS

Benefits of the application are immediately visible - giving the manager, department heads and even employees, a clear vision of short, medium and long-term objectives. Upon completion of a goal, its owner can mark it as resolved, positively or negatively.

A few months ago we started a new web application: management by objectives. This month, we managed to launch this online application - after many tests and adjustments in development strategy.

This application is simple (in use): the manager can build organization chart and add members in departments. Members can interact through goals, sent from superior to subordinate.

Management By Objectives - contextual comments

Benefits of the application are immediately visible - giving the manager, department heads and even employees, a clear vision of short, medium and long-term objectives. Upon completion of a goal, its owner can mark it as resolved, positively or negatively.

Besides managing objectives, the web application also provides users a way to solve requests. Requests transmitted, enables employee or a department head (not necessarily found in a hierarchical relationship) to submit requests to each other.
Requests made can be delegated for approval at higher hierarchical levels (depending on skills in their approval). A request may be approved or denied - the answer being transmited to the initiator of the request.

Objectives management and requests approval have a contextual build-in message system; every objective, request and all contextual messages are sent as notification also by email.

We still have a lot of work to do(english version and right now we're building iphone and android apps ), but for the moment can be a good start.
We hope this solution will be usefull for small-medium organizations and we hope we can solve communication problems between its members.

Let us know your thoughts - even if it's just in romanian - we hope screenshots from help section can be self explanatory.
